Digital Services Are to Speed Up the Restoration of Historic Landmarks in the Moscow Region

The region has moved permits and other documentation for restoration projects to an online format.

More and more government services in the Moscow Region are being transferred to digital platforms. According to the press service of the Moscow Region’s Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technologies, and Communications, starting in 2026, permits for work to preserve cultural heritage sites, as well as the approval of project documentation, will be processed online.

This move is expected to significantly simplify the paperwork required and shorten restoration timelines.

55 New Online Services Added

As Nadezhda Krutyanyk, Minister of Public Administration, Information Technologies, and Communications of the Moscow Region, noted, applicants can track the status of their requests through a personal online account, while final documents are delivered electronically.

The service is available to entrepreneurs as well as legal entities and private individuals. Over the course of 2025, the Moscow Region introduced 55 additional online public services.
