In 2025, industrial companies in Russia became the primary target for cybercriminals: one in six successful attacks – 17% of the total – was directed at them. That figure is up 16% compared with 2024.

The new lab brings together leading experts in industrial cybersecurity and is tasked with building multilayered protection for critical infrastructure, taking into account regulatory requirements and evolving threats.

“In the face of unprecedented growth in cyber threats, industrial enterprises need more than a set of tools – they need a comprehensive security strategy embedded into business processes. Our goal is to act as an architect of next-generation industrial security in Russia and ensure resilience for our clients. That is why we are investing in in-house expertise and building an ecosystem of trusted solutions,” said Pavel Rastopshin, CEO of UltimaTek Group.

Evgeny Sukhanov, the company’s chief information security officer, added that the lab’s specialists have experience delivering complex projects for critical infrastructure facilities.

“We are ready to offer companies not only the best domestic technologies, but also proven methodologies that enable layered protection tailored to current regulatory requirements and the real threat landscape of 2026,” he said.
