Discover Everything: Russia Launches Interactive Platform Showcasing Megaprojects and National Visionaries

On Russia’s National Unity Day, a new digital initiative — Future of the Country (Будущеестраны.рф) — went live. The platform offers citizens and international audiences a comprehensive view of Russia’s national goals, strategic megaprojects, and the people behind them.

Showcasing Russia’s Most Ambitious Projects

Developed by the Internet Development Institute (IRI) and the National Center ‘Russia,’ the new interactive platform provides an accessible digital window into the nation’s transformation.

According to the developers, the goal is to show ‘how Russia is changing today and which projects await tomorrow.’ Through a modern, visual format, the site presents detailed stories about major initiatives — from the construction of the world-class Unity Park research center in Yugra to the building of a next-generation fast-neutron research reactor in Dimitrovgrad.

The platform aims to inform both Russian citizens and global audiences about key national initiatives, covering themes such as comfortable urban living, ecological sustainability, digital transformation, security, public health, and family support.

Immersive Tools for Public Engagement

All information on the site is presented in a clear, visually appealing format supported by short videos, expert interviews, and digital storytelling. Visitors can explore interactive quizzes, test their knowledge of physics and Arctic geography, and learn more about megaprojects shaping Russia’s healthcare and transportation sectors.

“The future of our country depends on our collective actions and our ability to achieve the national goals set by President Vladimir Putin for 2030. The most important aspect is realizing every individual’s potential. Our task is to create conditions where young people are inspired to learn, create, and develop in the fields that truly interest them.”

The portal also features video content with well-known ambassadors and opinion leaders, making it both educational and entertaining. Among the highlighted projects are the BREST-OD-300 nuclear energy complex in Tomsk Oblast, the nuclear-powered icebreaker ‘Rossiya,’ and several flagship infrastructure initiatives.

The website also functions as a live digital hub — hosting announcements of upcoming forums and exhibitions open for public participation.

Bringing National Goals to Life

Created as an educational and outreach tool for a wide audience, Future of the Country promotes citizen engagement in achieving Russia’s national objectives. By showcasing the country’s most ambitious projects, it fosters a sense of connection between people and the state.

The platform’s continued development could eventually integrate with other national resources focused on energy, mining, and infrastructure — creating a unified digital ecosystem for visualizing large-scale public projects. For Russia’s IT sector, the platform also opens new opportunities: designing modern interfaces, integrating with public services, and expanding gamified learning experiences.

Its launch builds on years of digital transformation across Russia’s public services — from healthcare and education to culture and e-government platforms such as Gosuslugi. Ultimately, Future of the Country becomes another key link in the growing network of digital interaction between citizens and the government.
