Chechnya to Train Specialists in Industrial Robotics
Students in the region will be able to pursue a high-demand career path as industrial automation expands.

The Chechen Republic is set to launch a new program to train highly qualified specialists in industrial robotics. The agreement was signed by Grozny State Oil Technical University named after Academician M. D. Millionshchikov and Korporatsiya Robotov. The first cohort of students will begin training later this year. The program will focus on advanced robotics as well as unmanned technologies. According to Korporatsiya Robotov CEO Iskander Bariev, expanding robotics expertise in the regions is critical for balanced industrial development.
A Robot for an All-Terrain Vehicle
The company will also develop a robotic system for a local machine-building plant. ChechenAvto will receive an automated welding complex designed to assemble the space frame elements of all-terrain vehicles. The university’s Engineering Development Center will participate in the project.
As GGNTU Rector Magomed Mintsaev noted, the agreement opens new opportunities to integrate academic research into industrial projects and to train talent for high-tech sectors.
