Amur Region Launches Digital Calculator for Family Benefits
A new service called Knopka (Button) has gone live in Russia’s Amur region, offering families a way to check which social benefits and support measures they may be eligible for. Officials unveiled the calculator on International Day of Families at the Family MFTs (Family Public Services Center) in Blagoveshchensk.

The calculator analyzes household income, property ownership, and the number of children before generating a customized list of available benefits. Early users said the tool was simple and fast to use, and noted that the results could be printed out.
“The family calculator is a service that
allows families to learn what support measures they are entitled to,” Amur
Region Social Protection Minister Natalya Kiseleva said. “This digital tool
takes into account each family’s individual circumstances, including income,
property ownership, the number of children, and many other factors. The
algorithm then analyzes the data and generates a preliminary list of available
support measures.”
