Russian scientists have developed an AI system for automated accounting, capable of replacing the manual work of an entire department. Created by the company Smart Engines, the technology can classify documents, extract key data, verify signatures and seals, and upload information directly into financial software.
According to the developers, the AI can complete in one hour what would normally take 10 accountants a full month. The system processes up to 900 pages per minute, automatically entering primary accounting data related to VAT, simplified tax systems, and financial reporting.
