An Exhibition of “Digital Cats” Opens in Russia

Interactive artworks by artists from different countries are on display at a cultural center in Chelyabinsk.

An unusual exhibition of digital art has opened in Chelyabinsk, according to the First Regional News Agency. Titled “Strana. Svyaz. Tekhnologii” (“Country. Connection. Technology”), the show presents a new creative format. Interactive works by 18 artists from Russia, Argentina, India, Azerbaijan, and other countries are on display. The exhibition showcases the cultural codes of different nations, with artists interpreting their traditions through neural networks and generative graphics.

A New Art Format

The works are displayed on multimedia screens in a darkened space, creating a labyrinth-like effect. The visual styles vary widely, ranging from pixelated cats to meticulously detailed fantasy patterns.

For visitors, the exhibition offers a chance to engage with the art of the future and explore the cultural characteristics of different countries through a new digital format.
