Russia Introduces a Digital Logistics Complex for Large Enterprises

A new solution offers full automation of all weighing stations.

ASI Corporation is rolling out innovative weighing complexes at major enterprises in Russia and other CIS countries. The systems are designed to fully automate the accounting of material flows in transport logistics.

The complex identifies drivers or freight forwarders and captures vehicle parameters including license plate numbers, weight, axle loads, dimensions, cargo fill levels, and other data. All processes are managed from a single dispatch center, without on-site operators.

No On-Site Staff Required

The digital logistics complex consists of several components, including RFID tags for automatic vehicle registration and modules for measuring vehicle weight and dimensions. These systems operate automatically around the clock, eliminating opportunities for data manipulation.

Another key component is specialized software that integrates seamlessly with industrial control systems and higher-level enterprise platforms. Information boards display weighing results and instructions for drivers, while smart video monitoring and analytics modules recognize, record, and store data on traffic and drivers. Vehicle movement is controlled by traffic lights and barriers.

“Weighing processes completely eliminate the need for staff at control points. This increases throughput and the overall efficiency of logistics hubs while reducing costs,” said Alexander Vedel, commercial director at ASI Corporation.
