By 2030, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Federal Agency for Fisheries, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Plant Health Oversight, and other профильные agencies are to be integrated into a single digital platform. The move is expected to connect federal government information systems, support the adoption of new technologies, and boost agricultural exports.

Most public services in the sector are already being digitized. Users now have access to 77 agricultural services. Six state information systems aggregate data on key issues across the agro-industrial complex, from land monitoring to grain circulation oversight.

Market Saturation of IT Solutions in Agriculture

According to consulting firm Axenix, crop production, livestock farming, and food processing show the highest levels of technological adoption in agriculture. Pig farming and fisheries occupy a mid-tier position, while poultry farming remains the least technologically equipped segment.

In terms of the IT solutions market structure, 48% is accounted for by basic automation, while 26% is made up of smart devices. Artificial intelligence represents 12%, and robotics accounts for 8%.

Experts see strong potential in comprehensive digital transformation, with the key condition being a shift from fragmented deployments to the creation of a unified intelligent ecosystem.
