Russia to Host Global Showdown at Battle of Robots
The second stage of the international Battle of Robots will unfold at Patriot Park near Moscow, bringing together teams from Russia, Brazil, and India across two weight divisions.
The international Battle of Robots championship will return on October 11 in Moscow Region, hosted at the Patriot Park complex. Twenty-eight engineering teams from 12 Russian regions, along with competitors from Brazil and India, will clash in spectacular showdowns.
The event promises a vibrant display of powerful machines. Participants are split into adult and junior leagues. As in past years, many teams come from Russia’s leading technical universities. Engineers will stage sports-style technical duels, with robots entering a specially designed arena.
Launched in 2015, the championship has been held annually since 2023. It is organized by Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development together with regional governments.
According to organizers, the competition plays a vital role in advancing domestic robotics and the wider IT industry. It acts as a proving ground for experimental designs and a platform for knowledge exchange among international-level engineers. Winners will be awarded grants to fuel their startups, giving a practical boost to the industry.
