Yamal, one of Russia’s leaders in rolling out digital government services, is expanding its partnership with NtechLab, a top Russian developer of artificial intelligence systems.
The regional government and the company signed an agreement to deploy advanced neural network technologies in healthcare, housing and utilities, construction, transport, and urban development. The goal is to improve the speed and quality of decision-making, optimize resources, and make services more accessible and user-friendly for residents.
Governor Dmitry Artyukhov emphasized that the use of AI should help position Yamal among Russia’s most advanced and comfortable regions to live in. Beyond practical applications, the agreement also includes support for joint research in artificial intelligence.
According to Konstantin Oboltin, head of Yamal’s Department of IT and Communications, the agreement will not only consolidate the region’s achievements in AI adoption but also test cutting-edge methods in medicine, transport, construction, and other industries.
