RusHydro Deploys AI Assistant for Corporate Document Search
The new system significantly reduces the time employees spend searching for internal information.

Russian energy company RusHydro is continuing its digital transformation efforts with the rollout of an AI-powered platform for working with electronic documents. The system is built on large language models and currently contains around 16,000 documents, including corporate orders, policies, instructions, and other internal materials.
Previously, searching for a single document by keywords could take employees up to 30 minutes. The new AI platform analyzes not only keywords, but also the meaning of a query, generating responses with links to specific sections of documents while pulling information from multiple sources simultaneously. The speed gains come from the use of multiple AI agents working in parallel, with each agent handling a specific task.
Developers say the introduction of the AI document assistant has reduced response times by a factor of 10. But the main effect, they say, is the shift from isolated keyword searches to deeper data analysis capable of producing more relevant and comprehensive answers.
