West Engineering Delivers Local Control Panel for Unit 4 of India's Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant

A local control panel manufactured by West Engineering has been delivered to the construction site of Unit 4 at India's Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant. The equipment is designed for the automated process control systems that enable operators to monitor and control plant systems from local control stations.
The control panel was built in accordance with international nuclear safety requirements. It also features enhanced seismic resistance, maintaining its structural integrity during earthquakes of up to magnitude 8.
The delivery also includes a complete set of spare parts and required accessories. This will enable specialists at the site to carry out installation and commissioning while providing the resources needed for maintenance and repairs throughout the equipment's operational lifetime.
