TEKHNOROB Innovation Lab Opens in Vladimir Region
The lab has been launched at the Rusklimat XL technology park.
The TEKHNOROB innovation lab has begun operating at the Rusklimat XL technology park in the Vladimir region. It will develop and implement projects aimed at expanding the use of robotics at industrial facilities.
The lab is the latest step in the technology park’s automation strategy. In 2023, a subsidized loan from Russia’s Industrial Development Fund under the Proizvoditelnost truda (Labor Productivity) government program supported what was described as the largest industrial robotics project in Russia’s climate-control equipment industry at the Kirzhach branch of the Izhevsk Thermal Equipment Plant. About 70 robots have now been deployed across the technology park’s factories.
The new facility will develop systems for robotic welding, machine-tool automation and the creation of digital twins of production sites.
