VSK and RU-CENTER Launch Russia’s First End-to-End Website Cyber Insurance Product
Insurance House VSK and RU-CENTER have introduced a comprehensive cyber insurance product for corporate websites, combining automated protection, insurance coverage, and guaranteed recovery after an attack.
The product is the first solution in Russia to cover the full protection cycle - from daily monitoring to post-attack remediation handled by professional teams. At its core is Virusday – an automated security service, which operates around the clock. If, however, an attack causes damage, the company reports the incident through a web interface, after which specialists take over site recovery. Costs are covered by a VSK policy within the selected coverage limit.
Anton Chekh, senior vice president at VSK, noted that amid the rise in large-scale automated attacks, websites handling orders and customer data are becoming primary targets. According to him, the new product does not insure abstract risks but delivers a concrete, technology-driven recovery service.
