The platform consolidates data from more than 450 systems and connects to a data warehouse, data lake and operational data marts. Each division can choose the most suitable workflow - from quick operational reporting to advanced analytics with complex calculations. More than 2,000 employees across four business units are already using the platform, and the number of analytical queries has more than tripled.

“We have built a platform that enables business units to access data faster and use it directly in operations. It is integrated with the target data warehouse, data lake and operational data marts, providing flexible access to data from more than 450 systems with varying levels of timeliness and granularity. This directly improves process efficiency and creates a foundation for scaling analytics across the bank,” said Nikita Rybchenko, Senior Vice President at VTB.

As part of its import substitution strategy, the bank deployed two domestic solutions - one for regulatory reporting and another for self-service analytics. According to Natalia Surova, Head of Finance at VTB, business units previously relied on multiple tools and required IT support, but now operate within a unified digital environment that helps them better understand customer needs.
