Intelligent Revenue: Cloud.ru Hits Record Highs

Russia’s AI industry is entering a phase of commercial maturity as Cloud.ru records unprecedented revenue and accelerates enterprise adoption of domestically developed AI infrastructure

AI as a Revenue Engine

Cloud.ru, Russia’s largest provider of cloud and AI technologies, reported record revenue for the first nine months of 2025: about $694,049,239, with more than half coming from AI services. A year earlier, revenue reached $426,821,725, including $206,606,458 from AI-related offerings. This growth of more than 62 percent signals a structural shift: enterprises in IT, finance, and retail are moving from experimentation to large-scale deployment of AI systems.

Businesses rely on Cloud.ru’s import-independent Evolution platform to run multi-agent systems, generative models, and predictive analytics. The company now processes up to 2 billion tokens per user per day — a level typical of mature AI ecosystems.

This reflects Russia’s strengthening technological sovereignty: customers choose domestic providers not only for security, compliance, and fast support, but for cost optimization and higher operational efficiency.

Expanding Capabilities

Cloud.ru is becoming a catalyst for AI adoption across government, industry, and fintech. Its Evolution AI-Factory platform allows companies to deploy proprietary language models without foreign frameworks or dependencies.

“We continue expanding our product portfolio, and we see a strong, steady rise in demand for AI infrastructure.”
quote

The platform currently focuses on the domestic market, but its export potential is increasing: CIS countries, the Middle East, and Africa are actively looking for alternatives to Western technologies. If Cloud.ru completes full-stack localization—from chips to software—it could begin international expansion in the medium term.

Market-Driven Evolution

Cloud.ru has quietly built a new IT paradigm. In 2022, still under the SberCloud brand, it was recognized as a leader in the AI market, though AI remained secondary at the time. In 2023–2024, the company shifted from cloud service models toward AI infrastructure. By September 2025, AI accounted for more than 50 percent of total revenue.

The shift aligns with changing enterprise behavior: companies are integrating AI into the core of their operations — from quality control and predictive maintenance in manufacturing to demand forecasting in retail and fintech, and automation in call centers. Cloud.ru has become not just a service provider but a strategic partner in digital transformation.

National Strategy

Experts predict that by 2027, AI services may reach 70 percent of revenue for major Russian cloud providers. This transformation aligns with Russia’s AI development strategy to 2030 and the national project 'Data Economy.'

Cloud.ru demonstrates that Russia’s digital economy is capable of producing competitive AI products for the mass market. In the coming years, AI solutions from domestic platforms could expand in energy, agriculture, logistics, and potentially enter global markets.
