RT-Engineering, a Rostec state corporation holding company, has deployed a system of AI agents to automate cost and schedule management for industrial construction projects. The new solution achieves up to 90% accuracy and completes in several days work that previously took weeks.
The AI agents operate within a closed environment, and data does not leave the holding company. They break tasks down into a series of steps, with each one performed and double-checked separately. The AI gathers information from verified sources and matches items in cost estimates. To avoid the risk of inaccurate data, the system leaves complex or nonstandard items blank when no relevant information is available, or identifies the closest match and flags it for manual calculation.
