Telfin Launches Callback Feature Powered by Whatcrm Widget

The telecom provider’s solution is designed to help client companies increase sales.

To expand their business contacts, companies need to use every available communication channel, including telephony, messaging apps, social networks and other tools. Until recently, each task typically required a separate tool. Now, businesses increasingly need to manage these channels through a single interface.

All Communications in One Environment

Telecommunications provider Telfin is making significant efforts in this area. In particular, the company has added a callback feature to its Whatcrm widget to help increase the number of deals with prospective customers.

The updated software brings online chat, messaging apps, social networks and callbacks together in a single interface. All interactions across these channels are recorded in amoCRM or Bitrix24. The system maintains a complete history of customer communications, preserving context throughout the relationship. This is particularly useful when several employees need to work with the same customer through a shared account.

A Faster Path to Closing Deals

“The callback feature in the Whatcrm widget works instantly, allowing businesses to connect with a ‘hot’ lead who is ready to buy right now but needs a consultation. This is especially relevant to B2B, manufacturing, real estate and financial services. In these industries, callbacks are a tool for high-value or complex sales,” the provider’s press office said.

To activate callbacks in Whatcrm online chats, companies must connect Telfin.Office, the provider’s PBX service.

Customization for Business Needs and Corporate Branding

The developers note that Whatcrm supports a broad range of additional features. Businesses can use it to set a customized schedule for communicating with website visitors and configure different caller ID numbers and extensions to route calls to specific departments. The appearance of service elements can also be tailored to match a company’s website branding.

Telfin’s new feature could attract considerable interest from enterprise customers. Rather than building their own communications systems and committing resources to maintaining them, companies can use a ready-made solution backed by ongoing technical support from the provider. That support is essential to ensuring a smooth user experience. Callbacks and logging customer inquiries in a system have already become standard approaches to automating customer service. The new solution’s competitive advantage will depend not simply on whether it offers callbacks, but on how easy it is to configure, how quickly calls connect, how well it integrates with other systems and whether it delivers a measurable impact on sales.

Development Continues

The expansion of Whatcrm’s functionality is a logical next step in the platform’s technological development, which has been underway for several years. The platform launched in 2022. At the time, the company said it intended to bring messaging apps, customer relationship management and virtual telephony together in a unified communications environment.

In March 2023, the provider opened the Whatcrm API to enable messaging apps to connect with corporate systems. This expanded integration options for CRM, ERP and other business applications without requiring companies to build every connection from scratch.

In June 2024, Telfin and Whatcrm integrated amoCRM with Avito, enabling businesses to handle inquiries from users of the marketplace directly through the company’s infrastructure. In December, the same approach to unifying communication channels was extended through Whatcrm’s integration with OkoCRM.

The market has responded positively to the platform’s development. Sales of Telfin’s integrated communications solutions grew by 35% in 2024, while the Whatcrm product recorded growth of 80%. In February 2025, the provider continued expanding its service portfolio by launching a service that sends messages following phone calls.

The platform’s future development will depend less on the number of features it offers than on their quality. Callbacks, for example, have already become a standard market tool, so customers increasingly care less about whether the feature exists and more about connection speed and reliability. The next stage for solutions of this kind could include deeper automation of inquiry handling, speech analytics and the use of AI to assist sales managers.

Despite digitalization, the ‘request a callback’ feature remains important for a number of companies. For example, when a product is expensive or technically complex, handling everything through written messages takes too long. A voice conversation shortens the sales cycle. A live conversation with a sales manager eases the buyer’s concerns, especially when large transactions are involved
