Russian Cloud Provider Launches New Business Unit for Hybrid IT
Cloud.ru, a Russian provider of cloud services and AI-based technologies, has launched a new business unit under the Evolution Stack umbrella brand. The unit will focus on hybrid cloud offerings, helping large enterprise customers improve their existing IT systems and deploy the infrastructure needed to use artificial intelligence.

Industrial companies, telecom operators, major retail chains and organizations developing AI-related projects are expected to be among the primary customers for these technologies.
Digital Architecture Tailored to Each Customer
The new business unit brings together platforms, products, consulting expertise, implementation and operations. This combination is designed to support comprehensive cloud transformation programs.
The creation of the business unit marks a shift in how Cloud.ru approaches enterprise IT infrastructure. Instead of trying to move as many systems as possible to the public cloud, the company will focus on selecting the model that best fits each customer. Specialists will choose an approach based on the customer's needs, security requirements and existing IT infrastructure. A target architecture, for example, could combine a customer's own infrastructure with a private cloud and Cloud.ru's public cloud. This approach is expected to help customers get more value from their investments in IT infrastructure and AI, improve financial transparency, speed up resource provisioning and create the technology foundation needed to deploy AI at scale.

One Offering Brings Platforms and Services Together
Hybrid architectures offer a clear advantage: customers can keep critical data and systems within their own IT environments while still tapping into public cloud capacity. That is particularly important for AI workloads and the processing of large volumes of data.
Evolution Stack will serve as Cloud.ru's umbrella brand for a portfolio of private and hybrid cloud platforms, products and services designed for infrastructure at different levels of maturity and scale. The cloud provider plans to use both its own technologies and partner products offered under a white-label model, in which a company sells an existing IT product under its own brand. IT Key is the first partner.

The Future Is Integrated Platforms
Cloud.ru's new business unit reflects a broader trend in the Russian market, where developers are moving away from standalone cloud services toward integrated platforms that combine computing capacity, data storage, development tools and infrastructure management.
Cloud.ru's hybrid offerings have significant potential because many large organizations today, including government and financial institutions and industrial companies, prefer not to move their entire IT infrastructure to the public cloud. Security and keeping data within their own environments are particularly important to them. Cloud.ru, meanwhile, is shifting from simply supplying cloud resources toward providing comprehensive support for enterprise digital transformation. For large customers, that means additional ways to modernize IT infrastructure without completely abandoning systems that already work. This is likely to be particularly relevant to industrial companies, telecom operators and businesses that handle large volumes of data.

Over time, advances in enterprise cloud technology could improve digital services offered by banks, industrial companies, government agencies and commercial platforms by giving them more reliable and scalable infrastructure. Growth in Russia's cloud market could also reduce businesses' dependence on foreign technologies and vendors, while strengthening Russian developers and providers and laying the groundwork for a domestic cloud ecosystem. Russian hybrid-cloud and AI-infrastructure technologies could also find demand in global markets, particularly among countries seeking to reduce their reliance on the world's largest cloud platforms, including members of the CIS and BRICS.
