Robot Patrol Dogs to Be Tested in Moscow
Robot dogs for patrolling urban infrastructure and detecting violations will be tested at the Lomonosov cluster in late August.

The robot control system was developed by Q Group (Qubot division), a participant in the Robot Testing Center of the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation. An operator creates a digital map of a site and sets a route through a web interface before switching the robot to autonomous mode. The robot then patrols the area independently, avoids obstacles and analyzes its surroundings using AI and computer vision. Depending on the model, the robot can travel up to 10 km and operate for up to five hours without recharging.
Each violation is recorded with its location and time and immediately sent to the operator and included in a report. If the robot detects a person in a restricted area, it approaches them and delivers a voice warning or connects them with the operator.
