More Digital Tools for Russian Healthcare Professionals on Gosuslugi

Russia’s Ministry of Health is preparing a major expansion of the country’s e-government portal, Gosuslugi, introducing new features tailored for healthcare professionals. By the end of 2025, medical institutions, pharmacists, and doctors will gain access to a set of digital services designed to streamline accreditation, licensing, and data exchange — moving the nation’s healthcare sector closer to a fully digital future.

New Functions for Gosuslugi

Under the Ministry of Health’s initiative, in line with federal government directives, the Gosuslugi platform will be enhanced with new services for doctors, pharmacists, and medical organizations. Users will be able to receive real-time notifications about clinic accreditation and licensing, as well as access registries from the Unified State Health Information System (ESHIS). The reforms will also simplify the process of registering new drugs and medical activities. The rollout is scheduled for completion by November 2025.

The initiative covers the entire country’s medical organizations and professionals, marking another step toward the digital transformation of public services. Citizens will receive timely reminders about accreditation, while the licensing process will become more transparent and efficient.
