Moscow Moves MFC-Social Fund Document Exchange Online

Moscow’s Department of Information Technology has launched a digital document exchange system between the city’s “Moi dokumenty” (My Documents) public service centers and Russia’s Social Fund, cutting transfer times from days to seconds.

The new platform has entered a pilot phase. Documents submitted at government service centers are now sent directly to the Moscow and Moscow Region branch of the Social Fund of Russia, bypassing paper workflows and courier delivery. City residents can already use the system to speed up access to six Social Fund services, including one-time childbirth payments, summer recreation benefits for children of military personnel, compensation for housing and utility costs for military families, and several other social support programs.

“Previously, documents were transferred to the Social Fund of Russia in paper form through a specialized courier service. Now, with the new platform, staff can scan submitted documents and send them to the Social Fund within seconds. That allows social services to be processed even faster for residents,” the Moscow Department of Information Technology said in a statement.

City officials say the list of services available through the digital exchange system will expand in the near future, with additional government agencies expected to join the platform.
