Rosneft Engineers Develop Dynamic 3D Models of Components and Equipment
The technology is designed to significantly accelerate the design of new industrial facilities.

Engineers at Rosneft's Ufa Design Institute are developing dynamic 3D models of industrial components and equipment to improve the speed and accuracy of designing oil and gas infrastructure.
Unlike conventional static models, dynamic models can simulate movement, changes in shape or operating parameters, and interactions with the surrounding environment. For example, a dynamic model of an air-cooled heat exchanger for compressor stations enables engineers to identify the optimal configuration for specific operating conditions in just a few minutes, including dimensions, design, construction materials, and other technical parameters.
To date, the team has developed more than 250 dynamic models. They were created using data from Rosneft's Unified Catalog of 3D Products.
