Russian Cybersecurity Firm Unveils AI Tool to Automate AppSec Workflows
New plugin reduces workload and speeds up vulnerability analysis

Solar Group, a Russian cybersecurity company, has updated its Solar appScreener platform with a large language model, DerTriage/DerCodeFix, designed to automate the most time-consuming tasks in application security. The AI plugin can perform work equivalent to that of up to ten AppSec engineers, significantly accelerating processes and reducing team workload.
The solution is designed to help companies streamline development while maintaining a high level of code security. The plugin draws on an extensive database of known vulnerabilities and was trained over seven years using data from secure development projects at more than 1,000 companies.
Focusing on Higher-Value Work
DerTriage analyzes vulnerabilities with up to 80% accuracy and provides developers with a structured list of risks along with explanations. DerCodeFix generates ready-to-use fixes in line with coding standards.
According to Vladimir Vysotsky, head of business development for the Solar appScreener platform, “scan results are processed in minutes even for projects with millions of lines of code, compared to weeks previously.”
Development teams can dramatically increase productivity and focus on building products rather than searching for vulnerabilities. Solar appScreener supports code analysis in 36 programming languages.
