Russian insurance company AlfaStrakhovanie has migrated to the domestic software platform Platform V Works: Artifactory developed by SberTech. The transition took three months and was completed without disrupting business operations or incurring additional costs. The solution is used for in-house development, managing public libraries, and storing services.

A familiar programming interface and feature set eliminated the need to retrain staff or reconfigure workflows. After deployment, the company retained flexibility in managing software artifacts.

A Contribution to Technological Sovereignty

AlfaStrakhovanie has also implemented another SberTech product for code-quality analysis — Platform V Works: CodeScanner. The tool brings code into line with modern development standards, identifies vulnerabilities, fixes defects, and helps manage technical debt.

“We completed a seamless migration to Platform V Works: Artifactory, preserving system functionality and team productivity, and also integrated Platform V Works: CodeScanner into our development process to improve code quality. Going forward, we plan to consider the vendor’s solutions to further enhance information security,” said Maxim Maslov, chief technology officer at AlfaStrakhovanie.
