Russian Technologies Move to Secure Remote Offices
Two domestic IT companies have confirmed the compatibility of their solutions.

Russian developers Uveon – Cloud Technologies, part of the Astra Group, and Aktiv have completed joint testing of two remote-office products. Termidesk is a service for creating virtual workspaces, while Rutoken EDS 3.0 provides two-factor authentication tools, including USB tokens and smart cards. The solutions are designed to enable secure use of digital signatures on computers and mobile devices in a virtual environment. Testing confirmed full compatibility between the two products.
Enhanced Security Technology
According to Ksenia Shavrova, head of technical partner relations at Aktiv, two-factor authentication is critical for building trusted work environments. The combined solutions protect access to corporate networks, automatically terminate sessions when a device is removed, and minimize the risk of token loss or theft.
Sergey Khalyapin, director of new markets and technology partnerships at Termidesk, added that information security teams at large IT companies are now focused on strengthening remote work security in virtual desktop environments.
