Smart Collar Boosts Dairy Production in Russia’s Moscow Region
AI-driven livestock management is reshaping Russian agriculture — with wearable devices now tracking cow health and increasing milk yields.

One of the highlights of Russia’s agricultural showcase, Golden Autumn 2025, is a new “smart farming” system developed by a company from Sergiev Posad. The solution combines the Pulse smart collar with the Arka AI platform, creating an integrated livestock monitoring ecosystem.
The collar functions like a fitness tracker for cows — continuously monitoring each animal’s condition and determining the optimal time for insemination. Real-time data is transmitted to the Arka system, where an AI consultant analyzes milk productivity, veterinary health, and breeding cycles, offering specific recommendations for herd management.
The technology has already proven its effectiveness: at one agricultural cooperative in the Moscow Region, milk production increased by more than 770,000 liters in just one year after implementation.
Experts predict that by the end of 2027, two-thirds of Russian agribusinesses will use AI in one form or another.
