Smart Monitoring System Covers 306,000 Lighting Assets in Moscow Region
The system tracks the condition of lighting networks and helps prevent outages.

Smart lighting monitoring in the Moscow region now covers about 306,000 assets. One of the automated system’s tasks is to help resolve technical incidents. Since the beginning of the year, it has helped address about 1,500 technical failures. It has also sent more than 18,000 alerts to maintenance teams, allowing them to address defects before they cause failures, according to the regional Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications.
The system continuously analyzes telemetry from transformer substations. Power distribution cabinets are monitored around the clock, while the collected data is immediately transmitted and visualized on a centralized operations dashboard. The monitoring covers not only the lighting assets themselves but also the infrastructure that supports them.
