Astra Group Launches Platform for Building Enterprise AI Apps Without Coding
Russian IT leader Astra Group has unveiled a new digital solution. Astra AI Platform is a visual low-code development environment that lets businesses build their own AI applications.

The platform makes it easy to create a wide range of AI agents, from AI analysts and financial assistants to threat-monitoring tools. These capabilities can automate routine work involving documents, data and internal employee requests. Users can launch enterprise AI applications without writing code and fine-tune how they work. What once took months to implement can now be done in just a few days.
Two Builders at the Core
The product is built around two visual development environments for assembling AI solutions. The first, the ML Builder, handles machine-learning models. These models learn from data and generate predictions, support the integration of ML algorithms, and can be trained and deployed through the platform. The LLM Builder focuses on large language models (LLMs). It helps automate business processes and build assistants with intelligent search, as well as agents that take care of routine tasks.
Visual development lets users assemble AI-powered workflows from individual blocks, configure them and debug them in real time. The new platform is integrated with Astra AI Code, the company’s coding agent, which can speed up development by acting as an AI partner throughout the process.
Within Astra AI Platform, users can edit the code behind any block and create custom blocks in Python. They can also populate the platform with many different agents. For example, an “AI Analyst” can analyze information and manage data, while an “AI Risk Monitor” can track compliance with regulations at state-owned companies or lending institutions.

Security Through On-Premises Deployment
Astra Group’s new product could appeal to a wide range of organizations that must meet stringent personal-data protection requirements. One major advantage is security: Astra AI Platform supports local deployment, allowing customers to install it within their own IT infrastructure instead of relying on a third-party cloud provider. That way, their data can remain inside the organization rather than being sent outside its environment.
The platform’s effectiveness has already been demonstrated in practice. Tasks that once required specialists to spend considerable time reading technical diagrams can now be assisted by AI models. Classification models trained on the platform work alongside vision-language models (VLMs) to analyze drawings and recognize text. Together, they can process 10 pages of diagrams and specifications in just five minutes, freeing employees to focus on other work.
The new solution, part of the Astra AI ecosystem, has been added to Russia’s software registry, confirming that it meets the requirements of Russian law. Organizations that prioritize data security and rapid AI deployment can now use the platform.

In Step With Global Trends
Developing and bringing digital solutions such as Astra AI Platform into everyday business operations will help companies build AI tools faster for document processing and information retrieval, while speeding up routine tasks. Experts expect the new product to find applications in manufacturing, finance, energy and other industries with stringent information-security requirements.
The launch of Astra AI Platform reflects a broader shift in Russia’s AI market. Companies are gradually moving beyond standalone chatbots and AI assistants toward enterprise platforms that can bring multiple agents together. Adoption will depend not only on model quality but also on how easily these platforms integrate with existing systems, support on-premises deployment and manage access permissions.
Russian platforms that don’t require programming skills are making AI service development more accessible and offering an alternative to foreign IT tools. To compete in global markets in the future, however, these products will need to integrate with widely used enterprise systems and adapt to other countries’ security requirements and laws.
