Digital tools are increasingly shaping how Russians celebrate weddings, Regions.ru reported. Through Gosuslugi, the government services portal, couples can send invitations to guests. In the “Wedding Invitation” section, they select a template, specify the date and venue, outline a dress code and include other key details. The same portal is also used to submit the official marriage registration application.
A Ceremony Without the Hassle
During the event itself, digital services help collect guests’ wishes. Using a dedicated tablet, attendees can leave written messages, record video greetings or design a digital card. Organizers say the format preserves the atmosphere of the celebration long after it ends. Another idea gaining traction is a mobile app featuring a quest-style game for guests, who complete tasks, earn points and compete for prizes awarded to the most active participants.
Regional portals also allow couples to select wedding venues. Many platforms now list rental prices, publish photos and provide detailed descriptions of available locations. Modern digital services are streamlining preparations for what many consider the most important celebration of their lives.
