Educational Chatbots Are Being Rolled Out in Russia’s MAX Messenger
The digital service is emerging as a convenient communication tool for teachers, students, and parents.

An educational chatbot from the Elschool portal of the Republic of Bashkortostan has been launched in the national messenger MAX, according to the regional government’s press service.
The digital tool gives parents and students access to information from the electronic education environment. The Elschool electronic diary chatbot provides student data and allows users to view class schedules, subject grades, and records of missed lessons. Access to the chatbot’s features does not require authentication through the Gosuslugi government services portal.
All Features in One Place
Gennady Razumikhin, Minister of Digital Development and Public Administration of Bashkortostan, said that launching the chatbot within a domestic messenger makes it easier to obtain information about the learning process.
Last year, the Sferum communication platform was integrated into the MAX app. As a result, teachers, students, and parents gained access to a secure and convenient communication environment. The education-focused space includes essential features such as chats, one-on-one and group calls, file sharing, and other services designed to support day-to-day learning.
