Mintsifry Adds Polanis Digital Platform to State Software Registry
The system is designed to accelerate transport-flow calculations by an order of magnitude.
Polanis, a digital platform for multimodal data analysis, has demonstrated high performance metrics, accelerating transport-flow calculations by roughly 20 times. The system’s controlled reduction in accuracy does not exceed 5%.
The platform was developed by researchers at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. It has now been added to the Unified Registry of Russian Software maintained by Mintsifry (Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media).
“The key feature of our platform, and what
sets it apart from competing systems, is the creation of a unified integrated
working environment. Users get an end-to-end toolkit that allows them to upload
source data in nearly any format and receive analytics through interactive
visual models,” said SPbPU Vice Rector for Research Yuriy Fomin.
Developers say the platform can be used across a wide range of industries, including applications for geophysicists.
