Engineers at Bratsk CHP-6 Develop VR Training Simulator for Maintenance Crews
The system is to be built around a digital twin of a turbine unit to provide realistic hands-on training for maintenance personnel.

A team from Bratsk CHP-6 has unveiled the concept of a virtual reality training simulator for maintenance workers. Powered by a digital twin of a turbine unit, the system will recreate every component of the equipment in detail, allowing employees to train in conditions that closely mirror real-world operations.
The engineering team presented the project at the international CASE-IN championship, where it placed fourth and received a special award.
The proposal has also attracted the attention of En+ Group, which operates Bratsk CHP-6. The company expects to begin developing a pilot version of the simulator at the power plant in the near future.
