MegaFon Deploys 5G Network in Central Nizhny Novgorod
The network will cover the entire TsIPR-2026 conference venue.
Ahead of the TsIPR-2026 conference, MegaFon deployed a localized 5G network across the entire grounds of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, the venue that will host the event.
The fifth-generation network will operate throughout the forum site, including outdoor areas, the Main Fair House, and exhibition and business-program pavilions. Access will be available not only to conference attendees, but also to city residents and visitors. Users will be able to connect for communications and for services requiring high-speed data transfer and low latency, including high-resolution video streaming.
“We believe it is fitting that this event
takes place not only in the spirit of the future, but also within the digital
infrastructure of the future — inside the perimeter of a fifth-generation
communications network. The 5G solution deployed at the forum venue is designed
to operate under conditions with a large number of simultaneous connections
while providing high-speed data transmission,” MegaFon Technical Director
Aleksey Titov said.
TsIPR-2026 is scheduled to take place in Nizhny Novgorod from May 19 to May 22.
