Rostec-Backed Biometric Kiosk Project Aims to Simplify Access to Russian Government Servicesа
Analitichesky Tsentr, whose Osnovanie certification center was established with participation from Rostec subsidiary RT-Proyektnye tekhnologii and the Seldon Group, will present the Portal Rodina cryptobiometric kiosk at the annual Digital Industry of Industrial Russia conference (DIIR), taking place May 18–21, 2026, in Nizhny Novgorod.

The Portal Rodina project is designed as a multipurpose biometric terminal for the automated collection and processing of citizens’ biometric data. Developed with support from Russia’s Economic Development Ministry, Digital Development Ministry, and Interior Ministry, the system is intended to simplify access to Russian government services for both citizens and migrants inside Russia and abroad. The kiosk will be showcased at the Rostec exhibition stand, where conference participants will also be able to explore the kiosk’s functionality alongside partner technologies in medical internet-of-things systems (IoMT Istok), identity-management tools (ESH EUS), security monitoring systems (Camkeeper), and unified development environments for engineering software (PAK SAPR).
In 2026 and 2027, Portal Rodina cryptobiometric kiosks are expected to be integrated into government-service facilities across Russia and internationally. Officials say the terminals should also reduce workloads for public-service employees and shorten service processing times.
The project is being financed through Analitichesky Tsentr’s own funds without the use of state budget resources. Future deployment is expected to proceed through a public-private partnership model.
