Representatives of Gruppa Kompaniy Bespilotnye Sistemy (Group of Companies Unmanned Systems) visited Samarskiy Natsionalnyy Issledovatelskiy Universitet Imeni Akademika S. P. Koroleva (Samara National Research University named after Academician S. P. Korolev) to review the university’s scientific and production facilities. The focus of the visit was on developments in unmanned aerial systems and intelligent payload technologies.

The delegation toured the Scientific and Technological Center for Composite Materials and the Center for Unmanned Systems. Company representatives inspected laboratories, examined equipment, and discussed ongoing projects with engineers and researchers.

Hyperspectral Technologies and Intelligent Systems

The sides discussed promising developments in drone technologies, including hyperspectral imaging equipment and intelligent control systems. Such systems expand the functionality of unmanned aircraft, enabling infrastructure monitoring, industrial diagnostics, and real-time data analysis.

The university is building expertise not only in designing unmanned platforms but also in developing payload components, including sensors and information-processing systems. This approach creates a full technological cycle, from design to the integration of digital modules.

The meeting was attended by Samara University Rector Vladimir Bogatyrev; Andrey Pokoev, adviser to the director of Gruppa Kompaniy Bespilotnye Sistemy; Armen Arakelyan, CEO of ANO Direktsiya Kampusa (Campus Directorate); First Vice-Rector for Research Anna Rosenzweig; Ivan Tkachenko, director of the Institute of Aviation and Rocket-Space Engineering; and heads of профильные подразделения.

The visit went beyond a routine courtesy call. Cooperation between laboratory researchers and industrial manufacturers opens the door to joint R&D projects and industrial testing of new unmanned technologies. When research, assembly, and product servicing are integrated into a single chain, the benefits extend beyond the immediate partners to the broader industry.
