Basalt SPO Opens New Training Centers in Voronezh and Moscow
Basalt SPO has expanded its network of authorized training centers by partnering with the Voronezh Institute of High Technologies and Moscow-based Diona Master Lab to train system administrators for the Alt family of operating systems.
The training program is divided into two stages. Participants first study the fundamentals of Linux system administration before moving on to the installation, boot process, updates, and diagnostics of the Alt operating system. Basalt SPO now operates 20 authorized training centers across Russia, including in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, and Yekaterinburg, where certified instructors teach courses that lead to vendor-issued certificates.
According to Preobrazhensky, the programs are designed for working IT professionals and take into account real-world migration scenarios for organizations transitioning to Russian software.
The new training centers will help students and regional IT professionals gain practical experience working with Russian operating systems.
