Next-Generation Greenhouse Complex Opens in Russia's Voronezh Region
The new facility is expected to produce up to 51,000 metric tons of vegetables annually.

The Voronezh-Agro next-generation greenhouse complex has opened in the Bobrovsky District of Russia's Voronezh Region. The project required investments of 22.7 billion rubles (approximately $290 million) and covers more than 38 hectares. Once it reaches full production capacity, the facility will be capable of growing up to 51,000 metric tons of vegetables each year.
A defining feature of the new complex is its extensive digitalization. The facility is equipped with automated systems that manage the greenhouse climate, irrigation, supplemental lighting, and continuous operational monitoring. According to project officials, the complex is expected to produce up to 80% of all greenhouse vegetables grown in the region.
