FEFU Showcases AI Developments in Documentary Cyber Series About Future Technologies
Far Eastern Federal University presented projects from its artificial intelligence center in the cyber series II Budushchego. The premiere took place at Moscow’s Oktyabr cinema with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.

The developments include algorithms for forecasting tropical cyclones, AI solutions for optimizing the operation of seaports and container terminals, as well as a system for identifying Amur tigers to preserve the population of the rare predator. University students are actively involved in the projects.
"Today, artificial intelligence is no longer a technology of the future, but a tool that benefits people, the state and business," said Roman Dremlyuga, director of the Far Eastern Center for Artificial Intelligence at FEFU. According to him, a significant share of the center’s researchers are students who work both on major projects and on their own ideas for regional development.
