Moscow Expands Digital Cultural Services
Residents can use digital platforms to buy tickets and access library services across the city

Moscow is expanding its digital services in the cultural sector, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said, outlining results for 2025. More than 27,000 events—including concerts, exhibitions, lectures, and workshops—are now available through the city’s mos.ru platform. Users can also purchase discounted tickets to cultural institutions via the Mosbilet service.
A Virtual Zoo Experience
In 2025, data on museum items was added to the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation. The Muzeinaya Moskva onlayn (Museum Moscow Online) platform features more than 40 museums and around 140,000 high-resolution images of exhibits.
The Moscow Zoo has expanded its online streaming capabilities, allowing users to replay broadcasts and switch to English-language streams. Residents can also apply for a unified library card through mos.ru, a service already used by 1.3 million people.
