Russia Has Developed a Prototype Corporate Messenger with a Built-In AI Assistant
Russia has unveiled a prototype corporate messenger with an integrated AI assistant, designed to support government agencies and business organizations with secure communication and intelligent automation.
Scientists in Penza have introduced a working prototype of a corporate messenger enhanced with an AI-powered assistant. Developed under the national project “Production and Automation Tools,” the system is aimed at state institutions and the business sector. Initial testing confirmed the stability of core functions, and the team is preparing further improvements.
The messenger consists of a mobile application, a server module, a neural network engine, and a database for storing message histories. The AI assistant is embedded directly into the chat interface as a full participant and can be activated at the press of a button. It helps users search for information, formulate queries, and provides quick recommendations right inside the chat window—reducing time spent on routine tasks.
The system is being developed by the research team of the Computer Engineering Department at Penza State University together with graduate students. The developers emphasize that organizations will be able to deploy the server component locally, ensuring a high level of confidentiality. The client application is expected to appear in both the App Store and RuStore. Future updates will add support for multimedia files and expand the messenger’s functionality.
According to the creators, the new messenger could become the foundation for a secure corporate platform that unites familiar communication tools with modern artificial intelligence capabilities.
