Russian Software To Tell Managers Who Really Worked—and How Much
An update to workforce time-tracking software from Verme is designed to make shift planning and vacation scheduling easier for organizations.

Verme, a Russian developer of software for employee shift planning and tracking actual hours worked, has rolled out updates to two of its flagship products. In its workforce management solution, WFM 2.0, the interface has been completely redesigned. It has been adapted for multiplatform use and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
Developers have also simplified the logic behind schedule configuration. New interface elements are intended to help users build schedules faster and achieve the desired outcomes from workforce planning.
Built-In Training Module
The system now includes a remote, interactive training module, allowing employees to learn how to use the software directly while working with it. This lowers the barrier to entry for new staff, who previously required additional, separate training.
Offline Time Tracking
The updated time-tracking application addresses a key challenge for companies operating in regions with unstable internet connectivity. Employees can now clock in and out and record intermediate check-ins using autonomously generated QR codes. The data is stored locally and synchronized once the connection is restored. The system always displays the status of each check-in, reducing errors and giving companies confidence that working hours are being recorded accurately.
No Way to Fake the Hours
The software has also gained stronger anti-fraud protection. QR codes are refreshed dynamically every 5 to 10 seconds, and the system prevents them from being shared via video recordings or screenshots. According to Verme’s product director, Maksim Minakov, the changes are meant to address real customer needs and ensure stable operation in any conditions.
Overall, the updates make Verme’s tools more convenient and reliable for organizations with large numbers of shift workers, including those in retail, logistics, and distribution centers. Accurate time tracking and proper scheduling directly affect payroll and operational efficiency—meaning employees are less likely to be underpaid, and employers can clearly see what they are paying for.
