Yandex and SolidSoft Launch Joint Cybersecurity Venture

The partnership aims to develop AI-driven tools to shield businesses from a rising wave of digital threats, including bot attacks and large-scale DDoS.

Russian tech giant Yandex and cybersecurity specialist SolidSoft have announced a joint venture to build next-generation digital security products. The collaboration is designed to create solutions for protecting businesses against modern cyber threats, with a focus on web application attacks and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) strikes.

The alliance will boost Yandex Cloud’s cybersecurity portfolio by integrating SolidSoft’s SolidWall WAF and Yandex’s own Smart Web Security system. These tools will offer improved protection from bots and other high-volume attacks, with artificial intelligence playing a key role in detection and response.

Solutions from the new venture will be available in both cloud and on-premises formats, allowing businesses to deploy them on their own infrastructure. Meanwhile, SolidSoft will continue to maintain and advance its existing product line and customer commitments.
