Virtual Assistant Aleksandra Launches in Russia’s MAX Messenger
One in three transport-related inquiries is already handled by a chatbot

A chatbot for Moscow’s public transport system, Aleksandra, has launched in the MAX national messenger, according to the Mos.ru portal. The digital assistant operates around the clock, responding to user requests and coordinating with city services so that messages can be routed to the appropriate specialists when needed.
Built-in AI enables Aleksandra to carry out contextual conversations, remember prior interactions, and respond effectively even to loosely phrased or unconventional questions. About 60 percent of the assistant’s knowledge base is powered by AI.
Assistance and Support
Using neural networks, Aleksandra can share facts about the metro, provide updates on the Moscow Central Circle, Moscow Central Diameters, regular river transport, suburban trains, Aeroexpress services, taxis, and car-sharing.
The chatbot can also answer questions about bus terminals and highways, transport services and employment opportunities, public transport rules, advertising, navigation, and passenger services. Aleksandra can even share her favorite books, hobbies, and aspirations to create a more engaging user experience.
