Moscow Tech Cluster to Launch Factory Producing Industrial Robots
The new facility will manufacture robotic systems for welding, cutting, and materials processing — strengthening Russia’s push toward technological sovereignty.

A company called ‘Intelligent Robot Systems’ has become a resident of the ‘Technopolis Moscow’ special economic zone, according to the city’s official portal
The company plans to invest around 730 million rubles (approximately $8 million) to build a 5,200-square-meter plant at the Alabushevo site. The factory will produce up to 19 robotic systems annually for welding, cutting, and materials processing.
High Localization and Focus on Domestic Technology
Anton Bychkovsky, CEO of Intelligent Robot Systems, noted that up to 60 percent of the company’s clients are Russian state-owned technology corporations. The new plant will use 80 percent domestically produced components, marking a major step toward import substitution and self-reliance in advanced manufacturing.
