Avito’s temporary employment service, Avito Podrabotka, has rolled out two AI tools: a chatbot to handle candidate responses and a voice assistant to contact potential workers by phone.

The AI tools were developed to meet market demand. The Avito Podrabotka platform matches businesses with temporary workers. Companies post shift listings, while users select suitable shifts and working conditions.
AI Call Center Reaches 61% Connection Rate
The AI-driven call center has processed over 1.2 million applications in a year and reaches a higher connection rate – 61%, compared with 45% for a traditional human-run call center. The second tool is a virtual assistant that manages applicant responses. It automatically starts a conversation after a user applies for a job, collects key details, helps users navigate the platform and answers user questions. The AI assistant has doubled the conversion from application to shift booking – from 5% to 10%.
Industry experts say AI tackles one of the biggest costs in gig work – unfilled shifts. Even a single no-show directly impacts revenue and service quality. The virtual assistant reaches workers faster and more cheaply than a traditional call center, explains shift conditions and moves the conversation toward a confirmed shift assignment. Avito Podrabotka will integrate the bot with SMS and messaging apps next, to further improve response speed and conversion to shift attendance.
