Artificial Intelligence to Help Organize Miss Russia Pageant
For the first time, neural networks will play a role in staging the country’s premier beauty contest.
Organizers of the national Miss Russia competition announced they will use artificial intelligence to prepare the final show, which takes place on October 4 at Barvikha Luxury Village concert hall.
General director Anastasia Belyak told TASS that AI adoption has become a global trend, and the contest leadership decided to embrace the technology.
The 2025 edition of Miss Russia began on September 15 and will run through October 4, featuring contestants from Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Tatarstan, as well as Moscow and St. Petersburg.
AI’s expanding role across industries was also a topic at the 29th Russian Internet Forum (RIF-2025), held in Moscow September 24–26. At the session “New Roles in Creative Industries: How AI Is Redefining Professions and Opening Horizons,” experts concluded that Russia has reached a new phase of professional AI use. Neural networks are already slashing content production costs in creative fields. At the same time, speakers stressed that while AI can boost efficiency, the value of unique, human-made content will only grow.
