Mastermine Launches Its Own Trading Platform
Mastermine, a contractor for Russia’s leading mining companies, has launched its own corporate trading platform. It is built on B2B-Center, part of the Russian B2B-RTS trading platform for businesses and government agencies.

The digital procurement platform is expected to make work with contractors more transparent while speeding up the delivery of equipment and services.
A Guarantee of Transparency and Speed
For Mastermine, whose employees have deep expertise in the integrated management of open-pit mining operations, launching its own corporate trading platform was an expected step. Mastermine is promoting technologies of the future, including robotics and artificial intelligence. The ability to tackle production challenges with new technologies is especially relevant now, as the company handles a wide range of work for customers – from managing mining operations and equipment to deploying digital and autonomous solutions.
The need for a procurement platform had been building for some time. Before launching its own platform, Mastermine had conducted 508 procurement procedures on B2B-Center since July 2025. Of those, 89% were completed, with an average of 7.5 participants per procedure. These figures point to strong competition and a high rate of completed procurement cycles. B2B-Center created a customized competitive bid comparison sheet for Mastermine, making it much easier to analyze supplier offers and speed up decision-making. With its own corporate platform, all procurement processes will take place within a single digital environment, from finding suppliers and running competitive procedures to analyzing offers and selecting the winners.
Today, for example, the company accepts bids only through its electronic trading platform and also selects the winners there. This makes procurement even more transparent while expanding the search for new suppliers. The approach has proved effective: Mastermine recently received Superzakupshchik (Super Buyer) status on B2B-Center.

All Procurement on a Single Technology Platform
The company plans to enter the Lider konkurentnykh zakupok (Competitive Procurement Leader) awards. Its professionals will be able to share their procurement practices with colleagues and the wider business community, exchange industry experience and present Mastermine as a technology-driven and transparent customer.
For Mastermine, launching its own corporate trading platform is more than simply moving procurement procedures online. It creates a full-fledged digital infrastructure for interaction between customers and suppliers. Over time, the company will be able to reduce transaction costs, expand its supplier base and make procurement more transparent. By digitizing procurement, the business can operate more efficiently.

Contributing to Digital Infrastructure
At the national level, the development of such digital solutions can also deliver major benefits. They can standardize work with suppliers, increase competition among bidders and strengthen oversight of procurement activities. Electronic marketplaces in manufacturing, construction, energy and mining bring large numbers of market participants together in a single digital environment and, more broadly, help build Russia’s market for corporate digital platforms.
Mastermine’s IT solution has export potential, although not through direct sales of the trading platform as a standalone product. Instead, the opportunity lies in expanding Russian developers’ expertise in corporate platforms, procurement automation and supply-chain management. Such capabilities are in demand in countries where large industrial companies are moving toward digital supply management. Russian developers’ experience working with industrial, metals and energy companies is an advantage.
