Moscow Nonprofits Develop Their Own Digital Projects
Ideas range from fitness apps to science education portals and a certification platform for domestic workers.

Nonprofit organizations in Moscow are receiving mayoral grants to develop their own initiatives, the city administration’s press service said. Among the projects receiving funding is an application from the foundation Gorod dlya lyudey (City for People). The app functions as a personal trainer, generating individualized workout plans and serving as a navigator for sports events and venues.
The application targets people interested in healthy lifestyles. It uses AI-driven recommendations for training and nutrition. Families raising children with special needs can locate specialized sports facilities and development programs. Each user maintains a personal sports portfolio with gamified elements to track training progress.
Confirm Qualifications Online
With support from a mayoral grant, the foundation Vozmozhno vse (Everything Is Possible) is promoting science education. Volunteers have recorded videos explaining fundamental scientific concepts. The short films are available on the project’s online portal.
Another IT initiative from the nonprofit sector is the platform Profstandart (Professional Standard). The portal certifies domestic staff. Its digital registry includes nannies, governesses and household assistants. Parents can select qualified professionals, while applicants can verify their credentials and reliability. Specialists from other regions have already begun joining the project.
